Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance (AORA) Meeting in Brussels 3rd of March 2017

The AORA-CSA 3rd High Level Advisory Board Meeting took place in the Irish Permanent Representatives Office, Brussels, Belgium on Friday 3rd of March 2017.  Representatives from Canada Europe, USA, Brazil, South Africa gathered together to exchange ideas and update on progress and new initiatives in the different regions in relation to the Atlantic as agreed in the Galway Statement.

This Galway Statement signed on 24 May 2021 established a formal Atlantic Ocean Research Cooperation between the European Union, its Member States, the United States of America and Canada and partner countries that builds on existing initiatives and programmes to increase coherence and coordination of ocean research cooperation.
