The 4th World Conference on Marine Biodiversity will be held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, Québec, Canada, from May 13-16, 2018. This meeting will bring together scientists, practitioners, and policy makers to discuss and advance our understanding of the importance and current state of biodiversity in the marine environment.
The Oceans Research in Canada Alliance (ORCA), a new initiative established to improve the coordination of ocean science and technology in Canada, is bringing together Canada’s ocean science and technology community to better align efforts, increase our collective knowledge, and forge stronger collaborative ties!
9-19 April - Ocean Plastics Lab Exhibition, Brussels near the European Parliament. The Ocean Plastics Lab is an exciting exhibition about science: It showcases the contribution of science to understand and combat the problem of plastics in the ocean.
The 2018 Ocean Sciences Meeting (OSM), co-sponsored by the American Geophysical Union (AGU), the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO), and The Oceanography Society (TOS), will be held 11–16 February, in Portland, Oregon.
